As a little girl, the most romantic thing I knew was the neighbor's excessively plump widow in her floral Midsummer dress. Shades of green and rose danced on the fabric as she moved around the yard. Her greatest dream was to receive a bouquet of pink roses from a handsome sailor. One Midsummer's Eve, just as the sun was setting, an old sailor appeared in the neighbor's yard with a huge bouquet of roses. The widow squealed with joy, hugged the sailor, and then danced across the yard, her dress billowing like a blooming garden. It was the most romantic and funniest sight I had ever seen.
